This is a water marbled piece called “Golden Ripple” that I created when I met Freya Scott for a workshop on using metallic paints while I was visiting England.

I wasn’t expecting to get such a beautiful result so quickly, but with Freya’s guidance and the beauty of water marbling itself, this was one of the pieces that stood out to me.

Working with Freya also helped me create the gilgit pattern and use combs with more confidence.
